The shapes were cut
from plain white card stock and temporarily assembled on a piece of 8.5"
x 9.5" card stock using a temporary adhesive. Each piece was then stamped
and colored with dye ink. I reassembled the stamped and colored pieces on
the card stock using permanent adhesive. This was layered onto another larger
piece of black cardstock, sprayed with acrylic sealer, and mounted on foam
core board. The whole piece was then glued onto a frame (shown in part below)
constructed from foam core board. The frame is covered with paper, which
has been stamped and colored to coordinate with the collage piece. The finished
piece, including the frame measures 14" x 13".
